HOW TO GET 99 PERCENTILE IN CAT

                                               

Every year about 2.5 lakhs students are aiming for IIM'S and top B-schools . The number of CAT aspirants is not going to be less so soon . It is just increasing with each passing year.

There are only 4531 seats in top B-schools . Among this high competition , its too difficult to fix your seat in top institutes but everything is possible if you put enough hard work . And not just hard work , you have to be smart as well . Smart work always beats Hard work .


Here I am going to share few tips to GET 99 PERCENTILE IN CAT :

• STUDY MATERIAL   

          

To crack any exam , what you all need is the BEST STUDY MATERIAL . You can buy study material of any good institute like : CAREER POINT , TIME . From my personal experience I will recommend study material from TIME INSTITUTE . Starting with this you can understand the concept easily. After this try to solve as many questions as you can.

      1.    VERBAL ABILITY :

                                             

* Read English novels as this will increase your knowledge as well as reading speed. Start with fiction as this will build your interest and then continue to the autobiographies and educational novels like : THE BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY . Try to read at least 1 novel per week.

 *To enhance your vocabulary , read WORD POWER MADE EASY and also watch english movies or web series.

*For RC's and para jumbles , solve TIME study material and verbal ability by ARUN SHARMA AND MEENAKSHI UPADHYAY

If you strictly follow the above steps then no one can stop you from getting 99 percentile in Verbal Ability.

    2.    QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE :

                                         
*If you are weak at maths then start with class 8th , 9th and 10th NCERT maths book. This will strengthen your basics . But if you are average or good at it then continue with TIME study material.

*Practice as much as questions as you can and try to solve questions within certain time limit to increase your speed.

                                                          

*Solve Quantitative Aptitude by ARUN SHARMA .

Nothing can stop you from getting 99 percentile in Quantitative Aptitude if you follow the above steps and good at picking up questions as per you ability .

     3.   REASONING AND DATA INTERPRETATION : 

                                                                   

*Solve TIME study material and reasoning by NISHIT.K.SINHA completely. This section is not that tough as it seems
if you practice a lot.

*The only way to get 99 percentile in REASONING is : PRACTICE PRACTICE AND ONLY PRACTICE.

               

•           TIME TABLE :

 To crack any exam , need to be punctual . Make a study time table and not only make it , stick to it. I have seen many students making time tables but not sticking to it. Trust me its worth your time.

•                    MOCK TESTS: 

AM ASSUMING THAT YOU HAVE COVERED ALL THE SYLLABUS AND PRACTICED ALL THE QUESTIONS. NOW YOU ARE READY TO GO FOR MOCK TESTS TO EVALUATE YOUR PERFORMANCE. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR PREPARATION. GIVE AT LEAST 1 MOCK PER DAY AND THEN EVALUATE YOUR PERFORMANCE. UNDERSTAND THE SOLUTIONS OF YOUR WRONG AND UNANSWERED QUESTIONS. AS PER YOUR PERFORMANCE IN MOCKS , STRENGTHEN YOUR WEAK TOPICS AND IMPROVE YOUR PERFORMANCE IN EACH TEST.
